  1. Whoa!!! It is incredible to me that we now have cars (if you can call it that) breaking the sound barrier. I wonder what kind of application a machine like this will have. I can not think of a single situation that a car would have to go 1,000 mph. Never the less this is amazing technology, and it takes a brave person to get behind the wheel of that thing. You’ll never see me driving anything moving on the upside of 1,000 mph!! HAHA.

  2. This video is about the BLOODHOUND SSC , which will be employ three Atom chips to manage the calculations behind the car’s propulsion systems, including a jet engine from the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter aircraft and the largest hybrid rocket ever designed in Europe. and i am acturally confused by this video, whether it is real or it is a simulation of achieving 1000mph. I suppose this is presenting the intel processor to manage the 1000mph activity of the “car”. it is a cool video and it is like an animation in the video game. fun to watch!

  3. I agree….this does seem more like a video game than anything else. While I do think it is pretty cool I question this has any for of practicality what so ever. And for that matter can it really be called a car? At some point when it is being powered by a rocket it has to fall into a different category.

  4. I need 3 Atom chips just to help me back out of a Target parking spot.
